With an MFA from the University of Massachusetts, Daphne Reed is a publisher, writer, editor, an
English language consultant, artist, and retired college professor. The Secret World of Angels is based on
true experiences occurring subsequent to 1979. She also publishes the quarterly Owl Angels Journal as
a follow-up to her book. This 8-page newsletter (no advertising) includes various paranormal topics
and angel commentaries.
The author's connection with the Beyond began following the premature death of her scientist husband
in 1979. The manner in which Roger Reed got through to her from the "Other Side" is a unique story
told in the book's Prologue. Her connection with her Angel correspondents continued, culminating in
her book that includes many messages and commentary from the Heavenly Forces.
Always an "activist" in behalf of social causes, Daphne divides her time between her writing and
publishing activities, her family, her friends. At present, she is also managing her internet protest organization,
Mothers Against War (MAW) protesting proposals for American military aggression against Iraq.
[Details available from the Mothers Against War Web Site - http://www.mothersagainstwar.info] Many other mothers, grandmothers, and other like-minded
supporters are endorsing MAW's motto, Save Our National Soul (SONS)."
Daphne is a member of South Congregational Church, a mother and grandmother, with many young
relatives and friends. Their future motivates her opposition to military aggression and injustices. Remembering vividly
the horrors of the last four wars the U.S. participated in (such as seeing a veteran of WWII walk around the
streets of Washington, D.C. with only a mask for a face) she was reminded by her Angel Guides that war is brutal
defiance of our Creator's commandment to "love thy Neighbor" whether next door or in the next continent.
